Our data
Beauclair’s client data is created from 1.7 billion strictly anonymised GB customer debit and credit card transactions per year, worth close to £60 billion.
Credit and debit cards represent 84% of high street sales. Beauclair’s data includes Apple Pay and Google Pay. Total sales are calculated using a robust statistical methodology based on Mosaic 8, the consumer segmentation model from Experian.
Methodology
Retail metrics are produced each month on a large and robust sample of in-person card transactions within your retail area.
The size of the dataset means the data is statistically representative of sales by UK adults aged 18 and upwards.
We use sophisticated statistical techniques to estimate total card sales in your retail areas, based on the actual mix of your customers in terms of location, affluence and other demographic factors.
